A native of Naperville, Illinois, Justin Walter is a Midwestern guy at heart whose passion for hosting began at a young age. In his early teens, Justin started hosting and producing full-scale game shows based off the popular TV series Survivor, The Amazing Race and The Mole. Justin has hosted and produced over ten game shows and has turned his once hobby into an adventure company called Reality Rush.
Currently, Justin is the host and producer of Let’s Go LA! which airs daily on the LA County Channel. During this outdoor adventure show, Justin and his co-host explore the many parks and recreational facilities of Los Angeles County. Justin is also the host of a half-hour talk show on CityTV called Non-Profit Profiles which features various non-profit agencies and how they are committed to making a difference.
Justin is a Boston College summa cum laude graduate with degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. While attending Boston College, Justin co-hosted Now You Know, a Boston-based TV show covering contemporary issues and university events.
During his college years, Justin also engaged in a variety of activities including hosting various special events, answering phones on a 24-hour suicide hotline, volunteering on a service trip to Jamaica, living and working abroad, and running the 111th Boston Marathon. His wide range of life experiences offers him the versatility to cover everything from travel and adventure to pop culture and politics.
In 2006, Justin was selected as 1 of 29 recipients, out of a national applicant pool of over 900, to participate in the prestigious International Radio and Television Society (IRTS) Summer Fellowship Program in NYC. Since then, his television experience has ranged from working for networks such as ABC, SBS Television, FOX, G4 TV, and E! Entertainment Television. Justin’s in-depth perspective of the television industry in the areas of talent, production, and marketing stems from his experiences of working all over the U.S. in Chicago, Boston, NYC and Los Angeles, as well as in Sydney, Australia. Justin Walter currently resides in Los Angeles.
